Who runs the house

The people behind Still Worthy, and the house they built.

Still Worthy was founded by Uros Pejanovic and Patrick Pattillo, whose personal experiences with recovery inspired their dedication. They built the program to support people regardless of an individual's ability to pay, and it is still run that way by the people on this page.

It is a faith-based recovery residence and non-profit in Charleston, South Carolina. The residency program gathers six kinds of help under one roof, and the people below are the ones who run it day to day.

Staff · Still Worthy · Charleston, SC

Cofounder, CFO

Uros Pejanovic

“Treating an addict like a prince and allowing them to speak first is crucial to their recovery journey… deeply rooted in his faith in Yeshua and lives by the principle that life is something to be given in service to others.”

Cofounder, CEO

Olav Vigen

Olav's focus is on judicially involved individuals. “After spending two years at the McShin Foundation in Richmond, Virginia, supporting individuals in early recovery and reentry, Olav returned to Still Worthy to focus on long-term recovery solutions.”

That focus is why legal assistance sits inside the program and not beside it. His direct line is (804) 759-9591.

Resident Director

Liz Bacon, known as “Bella”

A Certified Peer Support Specialist with a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication from the College of Charleston.

Logistics Supervisor

Blessings (Dave)

Known for his wild side-splitting stories… To us, he isn't just staff, he's family.

Also a cofounder: Patrick Pattillo, who with Uros started Still Worthy.

Seven areas of recovery

The house is built around the whole person.

Staying sober is one of seven areas the house works on together. Work and a driver's license matter as much as a morning meeting, which is why employment assistance and spiritual community sit in the same program.
